Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Professional to join our wonderful client in Folsom, CA. This individual will be responsible for developing and nurturing strong relationships with local businesses to promote and sell memberships, sponsorship packages, and marketing services. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who is passionate about community engagement and helping businesses thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospecting: Identifying and qualifying potential new partners through networking, lead generation, and market research.
• Relationship building: Establishing rapport with business owners and decision-makers to understand their needs and concerns.
• Sales presentations: Presenting the value proposition of partnership, highlighting benefits like networking opportunities, business exposure, and community involvement.
• Closing sales: Negotiating packages and securing commitments from potential partners.
• Account management: Maintaining relationships with existing partners, addressing their needs, and renewing partners.
• Event planning: Participating in Chamber events to promote partnership and connect with potential clients.
• Data management: Tracking sales activity, maintaining accurate customer information within the CRM system.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field

Experience:

• Minimum of two years demonstrated experience (e.g., internships, previous roles) in sales development from initial discovery to closing the sale
• Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is preferred.

Salary Band
$25 hourly full time plus uncapped commission, providing strong earning potential based on performance. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation.
